German 7th Grader: ‘I Am Marginalised Because I Am German and Eat Pork’

Bullying in German schools in Berlin’s heavily migrant populated areas has increased drastically with pupils claiming that they are threatened and beaten simply because they are German, and not Muslim.

Teachers in schools across Berlin are voicing concern over bullying from migrant-background Muslim children towards German children who can find themselves in a minority. According to one 7th grader in Berlin’s Schöneberg district, many Muslim migrant-background children bully and beat him simply for being German, Tagesspiegelreports.

In an interview with the newspaper, the unnamed pupil said: “I’m in seventh grade in a high school in Schöneberg. There, I am marginalised because I am German and eat pork. They swear in Turkish and Arabic about me.”

“In German, I am insulted as a son of a bitch or a fucked whore. In addition, I am sometimes beaten and kicked. If I get too close to other boys, they call me gay and kick me,” he added.

“Girls in my class are called sluts when they wear strapless shirts. I’ve been trying to change school for many months but can not find a free place to go to school. The school office and the school do not help me,” he said.

As a result of bullying, many teachers in Berlin have spoken out including Hildegard Greif-Gross, director of the Peter Petersen Elementary School in Neukölln, who said that young pupils can be bullied for as little as bringing a ham sandwich to school as part of their packed lunch.

Jewish pupils have also been singled out by bullies in diverse areas. In one case in May of last year, a Jewish pupil in Berlin was forced to change schools because of constant bullying and threats that eventually led to him being beaten by other pupils.

The 14-year-old, whose parents had moved to Berlin from the UK, put their son in a diverse school which he initially enjoyed until his fellow pupils found out he was Jewish.

Earlier this week, yet another anti-Semitic attack occurred when a teenager wearing a kippah filmed himself being violently attacked by a Muslim who whipped him with a belt while yelling “Jew!” in Arabic.

Germany: Muslim migrant children beat vegetarian fourth-grader over false claim he ate pork, victim is hospitalized

“Migrants bully and beat up German boy for eating pork – an ambulance was needed,” Voice of Europe, April 19, 2018:

After German daily newspaper “The Tagesspiegel” asked their readers to tell about incidents of school violence and bullying, they received a lot of replies.

“Our son is in fourth grade at a middle school and has been bullied since the first year. He was abused, beaten and kicked because he is German. Classmates call him ‘German pig’, ‘pig’ and ‘German potato’. At his school are mainly children with a migrant background. Most are Muslims,” one family says.

The boy and his family live in Berlin-Mitte, which is a multicultural neighbourhood, according to them. “We like to live there, we have a motley circle of friends. But our son being bullied and attacked for allegedly eating pork is simply unbearable for us. He does not even eat any, we are vegetarians.”

“In addition to countless insults that he has to listen to daily, our son was kicked down a staircase and beaten several times in the schoolyard – sometimes in front of the teacher. He was picked up from school by the ambulance more than once”, the family continues.

The boy once had to stay in a hospital for a weekend because a classmate had kicked him in the stomach and it was unclear whether any organs were injured, the family tells The Tagesspiegel. “There have been six incidents so far in just one year. We do not want to take this anymore”….

YES, “ITALY MUST REMEMBER ITS … PAST” WITH ISLAM

https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/269916/yes-italy-must-remember-its-%E2%80%A6-past-islam-raymond-ibrahim

Raymond Ibrahim is a Shillman Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center.

Although the conflict between Islam and the West is not an aberration but a continuation of history, the strategy of those who seek to whitewash and thus empower Islam is to fixate on peaceful aberrations while suppressing the continuum of hostility.

Thus, in “Italy must remember its pluralist past,” Akbar Ahmed, Chair of Islamic Studies at American University, Washington, DC, highlights uncharacteristic episodes from Italy’s past with Muslims in an attempt to convince Italians to be even more accepting of Muslim migrants.

Before looking at his claims, some actual historical context concerning Italy and Islam—otherwise devoid in Akbar’s article about the “past”—is needed.

Once the jihad was unleashed from Arabia, not only was Italy bombarded and under threat for centuries, but as the seat of Rome—the capital of Western Christendom, i.e., Infidel-dom—several ambitious caliphs and sultans especially targeted it, often while making the perennial Islamic boast that they would be first to turn St. Peter’s altar into a feeding trough for their horses.

As early as the seventh century, “the nation of the Saracens that had already spread through Alexandria and Egypt,” wrote Paul the Deacon (b. 720), “came suddenly with many ships, invaded Sicily, entered Syracuse and made a great slaughter of the people—a few only escaping with difficulty who had fled to the strongest fortresses and the mountain ranges—and they carried off also great booty…and thus they returned to Alexandria.”

By 846 Muslim fleets managed to land on the coast of Ostia, near Rome. Unable to breach the walls of the Eternal City, they sacked and despoiled the surrounding countryside, including—to the shock of Western Christendom—the venerated basilicas of St. Peter and St. Paul. The invaders vandalized the two holy shrines, desecrated the tombs of Christendom’s two most revered apostles, and stripped them of their treasures.

Such sacrilege prompted Pope Leo IV to erect strong walls and fortifications along the right bank of the Tiber to protect the basilicas and other churches from further Muslim raids.  Not ones to be deterred, “in 849 the Muslims attempted a new landing at Ostia; then, every year from around 857 on, they threatened the Roman seaboard,” explains French medieval historian C. E. Dufourcq.

Indeed, the following entry from Ibn al-Athir’s history dealing with southern Italy and Sicily is indicative of the quantity and quality of these Islamic invasions:

Another raid [in 835] directed at Etna and the neighboring strongholds resulted in the burning of harvests, the slaughter of many men and pillage. Another raid was again organized in the same direction by Abu al-Aghlab in 221 [according to the Muslim calendar, which in this case corresponded to Christmas Day, 835]; the booty brought back was so extensive that slaves were sold for almost nothing.…In the same year, a fleet was sent against the [neighboring Christian] islands; after having taken rich booty and conquered several towns and fortresses there, they returned safe and sound. In 234 [August 5, 848], the inhabitants of Ragusa made peace with the Muslims in exchange for surrendering the town and what it contained. The conquerors destroyed it after having taken away everything that could be transported. In 235 [July 25, 849], a troop of Muslims marched against Castrogiovanni and returned safe and sound, after having subjected that town to pillage, murder and fire [Ye’or 2010, 289–290].

Sadistic treatment for the infidel always accompanied the raid; for “it was to the amusement of the Saracens to profane, as well as to pillage, the monasteries and churches,” notes Edward Gibbon.  “At the siege of Salerno a Musulman chief spread his couch on the communion table, and on that altar sacrificed each night the virginity of a Christian nun.”

Although centuries of crusades largely safeguarded Italy and Sicily from further Islamic attacks, by 1480, Ottoman Sultan Muhammad II invaded Italy and captured Otranto.  More than half of its twenty-two thousand inhabitants were massacred, five thousand led away in chains. On a hilltop (subsequently named “Martyr’s Hill”) another eight hundred Christians were ritually beheaded for refusing to convert to Islam, their archbishop sawed in half.

Here is how French priest Jerome Maurand described the fate of the inhabitants of the tiny island of Lipari off Sicily after it was invaded by the Ottomans in 1544: “To see so many poor Christians, and especially so many little boys and girls [enslaved] caused a very great pity.…The tears, wailings and cries of these poor Lipariotes, the father regarding his son and the mother her daughter…weeping while leaving their own city in order to be brought into slavery by those dogs who seemed like rapacious wolves amidst timid lambs.”

Failing to comprehend why the Muslim conquerors so wantonly tortured the now enslaved population—including by slowly gutting the old and infirmed with knives “out of spite”—he “asked these Turks why they treated the poor Christians with such cruelty, [and] they replied that such behavior had very great virtue; that was the only answer we ever got.”

Finally, a great many of those millions of Europeans enslaved and sold in Muslim Barbary between the fifteenth and nineteenth centuries were originally seized from the Italian coastline and Sicily.

Needless to say, these centuries and events—documented in my book, Sword and Scimitar: Fourteen Centuries of War between Islam and the West—never make it in Akbar’s article, “Italy must remember its pluralist past.”

Instead—and because his agenda is to prompt Italians to be even more accommodating of Muslim migrants—he ignores the constants while fixating on those aberrations that might validate his thesis:

Italy produced Christian leaders such as Roger II, the King of Sicily, and Frederick II, the Holy Roman Emperor, King of Sicily, and King of Italy, who spoke Arabic, had Muslim bodyguards, and featured Arabic inscriptions on their royal mantle. Muslims and Jews were permitted to live by their own laws, and the jewel of Sicilian architecture, Roger’s twelfth-century Palatine Chapel, incorporated Christian, Muslim, and Jewish influences.

Such is Akbar’s evidence concerning Italy’s “pluralist past.”  While his anecdotes seem a far cry from the aforementioned centuries of unwavering hostility, one is still at loss concerning Akbar’s point.  After all, few if any Italians today have a problem with knowing Arabic, employing non-Christians, allowing others to live according to their customs, or erecting exotic architecture.

Rather, they have a problem with facilitating the ancient jihad against their homeland by bringing in more and more Muslim migrants who act in accordance with the history that Akbar suggests never happened.

Tiny Irish town taking in a 33% population increase in migrants had no say, locals fear being called racist

https://www.jihadwatch.org/2018/03/tiny-irish-town-taking-in-a-33-population-increase-in-migrants-had-no-say-locals-fear-being-called-racist

A tiny town in Ireland will soon see a 33% population increase through a Muslim migrant flood facilitated by the “efforts by a new migrant centre….leaving locals helpless.”

A concerned local, Michael Walsh, said that Ireland has become a “slave state” of the EU.

Even worse is that residents are afraid to ask questions for fear of being accused of being “racist.” This pattern is everywhere: Westerners surrendering to indiscriminate immigration for fear of being called “racist” and “Islamophobic.” In the UK, that fear became irrational — in keeping with a real phobia — when girls were being sexually abused in large numbers by Muslim grooming gangs. The attacks were covered up by police, social workers, and politicians, all phobic about being called “racist.”

Ireland is also in a dire situation. It was recently revealed that the Irish government paid media to promote a plan to bring in one million Muslim migrants.

Already the Central Statistics Office has “confirmed that Islam is now Ireland’s fastest-growing religion and, at its current rate of expansion, it is set to become the second religion in the State after Catholicism by 2043.”

“Exclusive: Tiny Irish Town Taking Hundreds of Migrants Had No Say, Locals Fear Being Called Racist”, by Liam Deacon, Breitbart, March 7, 2018:

A resident of a tiny Irish town having its population increased by a third by a new migrant centre has said Ireland has become a “slave state” of the European Union (EU) and its immigration policies, leaving locals helpless.

“We don’t know where these people are going to be from. They won’t tell us what countries they’re from. What religion they’re from,” said Michael Walsh.

He said the 300-strong rural community of Lisdoonvarna could be radically changed by such a large and sudden influx, and that many concerned locals were fearful of accusations of racism if they questioned it.

“They just proposed to expand the population of this little village by what? Twenty-five per cent? Thirty-three per cent actually!” he exclaimed in an interview with Breitbart News Editor in Chief Alex Marlow on Breitbart News Daily on Sirius XM.

“And [the asylum seekers] are starting to come in this week,” he said, explaining how the contracts for the deal have now been signed this Wednesday, making it a “done deal”, despite 93 per cent of Lisdoonvarna residents last week voting against turning a local hotel into asylum seeker accommodation…..

POPULIST REFORMERS WIN BIG IN ITALY’S ‘TRUMP ELECTION’

“The contours of the new regime are still unclear,” explained the Washington Post, “but an old one is certainly passing.” And the headline told the tale even better: “Italy’s election is another blow to the European establishment.”

The big loser was European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, who feared a “worst scenario.” The two big winners were “the anti-establishment Five Star Movement, founded less than a decade ago by a comedian, which won about 32 percent of the vote, and the League, a far-right, anti-immigrant, Euroskeptic party.”

In similar style, CNN headlined, “Italy’s voters choose populists, deliver stinging rebuke to Europe.” As the piece contended, “Italy was plunged into political uncertainty” with no party or coalition with enough votes to rule alone. A “right-wing coalition of parties won the most seats of any bloc in parliament with about 37% of the vote,” and the big winner in that group was “the anti-immigrant and xenophobic League.”

This result “will be met with alarm by European leaders who feared that big wins for Italy’s anti-establishment parties would spell further trouble for a continent already struggling to cope with the destabilizing rise of populist and far-right movements in France, Germany and elsewhere.” CNN quoted a tweet from “French far-right leader” Marine Le Pen that  “The European Union is going to have a horrible evening.”

In its headline, the New York Times offered “4 Takeaways From a ‘Throw the Bums Out’ Italian Election.” As the piece explained, “migration matters” and “the mainstream parties have no answer.” The Italian economic recovery has been weak and Brussels was not much help, “further harming the center-left.”

Italian elites are “considered generally corrupt and inefficient,” explained Mark Leonard of the European Council on Foreign Relations. “Few wanted to vote for mainstream parties that were the authors of the stagnation of the last decade.” For Matthew J. Goodwin of the University of Kent, the Italian election fit a common European pattern: the demise of traditional social democratic parties; the rightward shift of voters. As the Times noted, “the Italians voted largely for parties that are euroskeptic.”

The Guardian editorialized that Italian election was “a lesson for progressives.” Italian politics may be unpredictable, but “this general election is not business as usual.” As noted, “anti-establishment parties look to have won comfortably more than half the vote, an uncomfortable milestone for protest politics in a western liberal democracy.”

According to the Guardian, when center-left parties abandon a progressive agenda, “they end up resembling the conservatives they are meant to compete with. Progressives in Europe should not fence themselves into spaces they cannot get out of and let nefarious populists occupy their territory.”

That was pretty much the pattern for the old-line establishment media. American Greatness did better with “Apocalypse Ciao: Italy’s Trump Election.” As author Angelo Codevilla explains, Donald Trump was not on the Italian ballot and little of what Italians “think they know of him is true.” The question was whether “Trump-like popular sentiment would sweep away the cozy arrangements between old-line leftist and rightist parties that have been governing the country.” The result? “Trump won big.”

Italy’s governing Democratic Party, which as Codevilla notes is “the Communist Party’s descendant,” was reduced to around 18 percent of the vote, “cast mostly by government-empowered limousine elites as well as Communist diehards in Tuscany and Emilia.”  The biggest loser was Democratic Party’s former prime minister Matteo Renzi, “the international Left’s Boy Wonder, the Italian Obama.” He could not stop the “populist virus” that elected Trump and has now spread to Italy.

The vote, “changed Italian politics generationally from below. Nothing like this had happened in a century” but the result was a mixed bag. Under Italy’s parliamentary system, “the next government’s character will be the result of mostly backroom deals between mostly the usual suspects,” including a leftist president. Still, for Codevilla the lesson is clear, and it has nothing to do with any “ism” or with Donald Trump: “When voters are ruled by officials and associated corporate types who despise them, sooner or later they will find ways of returning the favor.”

The Academy Awards eclipsed coverage of the election, but so far no reports of Vladimir Putin attempting to influence the outcome through Facebook ads and fake demonstrations for all parties. No mysterious dossiers have prompted investigations, and Matteo Renzi has not announced plans for a “What Happened” book tour.

Meanwhile, if Jean-Claude Juncker is indeed the biggest loser, that is not a bad thing. As Bruce Thornton noted, the European boss “has long been a champion of increased centralization” and his selection by the European parliament was “an affront to democratic accountability.”

As Thornton shows, the European Union is “grounded in false assumptions about human nature and the role of the nation in creating a people’s identity,” hence the motto of “United in Diversity.” Based on the latest election, the Italians seem to prefer something like “Viva L’Italia!”

MEXI-MOUTH.CON

https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/269381/mexi-mouthcon-lloyd-billingsley

After the 2016 election, former Mexican president Vincente Fox posted a video with a sign reading “Mexico will not pay for the f—– wall.” Last October, Fox said “Donald, you suck so much at this job” and compared the president to a “worn-out baseball glove gripping a turd.” After the recent Florida high-school shooting Fox ramped up the rhetoric on HBO’s “Real Time” with Bill Maher.

“When you speak out of the White House this aggressive, violent language, when you discriminate, when you’re a racist, that’s what you get,” said Fox. “We need harmony, we need love, we need happy communities, and those concepts don’t come out of his mouth.”

And so on. While he talks trash on Trump and the USA, the former Mexican boss has been pretty quiet about violence inflicted by Mexico’s ruling Partido Revolucionario Institucional. As it happens, this year marks a milestone for perhaps the worst example.

October 2, 2018 will mark 50 years since Mexican troops opened fire on “hundreds of student demonstrators, calling for greater democracy.” The Tlateloco Square massacre, on the eve of the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City, claimed more than 300 victims and the PRI regime has been covering it up ever since.

“The army surrounded the square and fired from every angle on thousands of youths,” Claudia Sierra Campuzano’s History of Mexico: An Analytical Approach explained decades later, “leaving hundreds of dead and wounded, thousands of arrests.” As the author told the New York Times, the regime followed with “the persecution and imprisonment of student leaders.”

The Mexican government approved Campuzano’s book but in 2003 the Public Education Ministry yanked History of Mexico from shelves and classrooms. Campuzano told the Times it was “like the Spanish Inquisition,” and “a crack in the facade of democracy in this country.”

Mexican president Vincente Fox, supposedly a brave reformer, offered little if any protest. In 2001, Fox ordered creation of a “special prosecutor for crimes of the past” but nothing of substance came to light.

In 2014, Mexican student teachers commandeered busses to attend demonstrations commemorating the Tlatelolco massacre. Mexican police attacked the students, killing six and dragging off 43 others. The PRI government claimed they had been taken by a drug gang and incinerated in a garbage dump.

Six months after the murder-kidnapping, Vincente Fox appeared on Univision and said “it’s about time” the parents give up their demands on the Mexican government. “Now they need to accept reality,” Fox said, and “the country has to keep advancing.” Miriam Trujillo, cousin of missing student Jonas Trujillo, said Fox’s comments were “repulsive.” If that seems a stretch, imagine if Fox told the parents of the Florida shooting to get over their sorrow and move on.

In similar style, Vincente Fox calls the president of the United States a racist while ignoring racism in his own country. Mexico’s ruling class is overwhelming composed of descendants from the Iberian Peninsula of Europe, and current president Enrique Peña Nieto is whiter than Fidel Castro or Desi Arnaz. Non-white Mexicans face blatant discrimination, such as ads seeking “no one dark,” but the racism runs much deeper.

Mexican philosopher José Vasconcelos, minister of education from 1921-24, believed the mix of Indian and European peoples was La Raza Cósmica that transcends all other races.

“I never understood exactly what the ‘cosmic race’ implied,” the late Mexican-American Communist Bert Corona told Memoirs of Chicano History author Mario Garcia. “In my opinion, however, it was close to the kind of German racial superiority theory supported by Hitler. In fact, Vasconcelos himself became a fascist. Many Chicanos considered Vasconcelos and his views of the ‘cosmic race’ as an inspiration. But I recall Vasconcelos as a fascist.”

According to Corona, militant irredentist Reies Tijerina “had a definite race theory” and “the concept certainly seems to imply that we as Latinos, Mexicanos or Chicanos are superior to everyone else.” As Corona explained, “I couldn’t accept all this. We’re not a superior race.”

The cosmic race theory informs groups such as the National Council of La Raza and MEChA, the Movimiento Estudiantil Chicanix de Aztlán. The notion that the razaists are superior also underlies Mexico’s sense of entitlement to the U.S. economy.

Mexicans in the USA will send home nearly $30 billion this year, as Victor Davis Hanson calculates. If the official number of 11 million illegals wired that sum, it would work out to $2,700 per person per year, and a household of five would average about $1,100 per month sent to Mexico. That would be impossible without the subsidies of the American taxpayer, so Hanson wonders “whether the U.S. could tax that sum to build the wall or at least declare that proof of remittances disqualifies one for public support.”

“Mexico will not pay for the f—— wall,” proclaims Vincente Fox. If President Trump tweeted that Fox should STFU, that would be understandable. On the other hand, it would be better for the president to ignore Vincente Fox. This gutless PRI mouthpiece deserves not the slightest attention from anybody – unless he starts talking about deadly government violence in Mexico. Students and journalists, mark your calendar for October 2.

DEATH OF AN NFL DREAMER

By one estimate, only 6 percent of American high-school seniors will play college football and Edwin Jackson of Westlake High School in Atlanta was a walk-on at Georgia Southern University. Jackson played well but the odds of making it to the National Football League were not in his favor.

Of some 20,000 college freshmen only 1.5 percent will make an NFL roster and no NFL team showed much interest in Edwin Jackson. Instead of giving up, he went the free-agent route and after release by the Arizona Cardinals he found a home with the Indianapolis Colts. In the eight games he started for the team, Jackson recorded 66 tackles. In the NFL, performance counts and at 26, the hard-working linebacker had the best of his career before him.

By all indications, Jackson was popular with teammates and careful to avoid trouble off the field. Indeed, while out late last weekend, Jackson showed the good sense to take Uber rather than drive. He doubtless planned to watch the Super Bowl but Edwin Jackson would not tune in or ever play another game in the National Football League.

Early on Sunday, a Ford F-150 pickup slammed into Jackson and driver Jeffrey Monroe, 54, who had pulled to the side of Interstate 70 in Indiana. Both men perished in the impact and the driver fled. Police chased down Alex Cabrera Gonsales but that name turned out to be fake.

The man who killed Edwin Jackson was actually Manuel Orrego-Savala, 37. He had no driver’s license and his blood-alcohol level was 0.239, three times the legal limit. The politically correct would say he had a problem with “substance abuse” but in reality he’s a drunk who was not supposed to be in the United States in the first place.

The Guatemalan national entered the United States illegally in July of 2004. The following year, he was convicted of drunk driving in Redwood City, California, but by all indications not handed over to ICE for deportation. ICE arrested Orrego-Savala in October, 2006, and in January of 2007 deported him to Guatemala. He again entered the United States illegally and made his way to San Francisco, where he was arrested and deported in March of 2009.

The Guatemalan national again violated U.S. immigration law and made his way to Indiana. In the aftermath of the deadly crash, the illegal lobby was going easy on him. Ana Kotchkoski of the Venezuelan Association of Indiana, which lobbies for DACA and “dreamers,” told the IndyStar “it’s so unfortunate what happened, this is very, very sad.” She spared the Guatemalan illegal any direct criticism.

WHEN RACIST ILLEGALS MURDER AMERICANS

In October 2014 in Sacramento, Mexican national Luis Bracamontes, a repeat deportee and career criminal, gunned down police officers Danny Oliver and Michael Davis. The case reveals the failure of California’s ruling Democrats to recognize the violent racism of false-documented illegals.

After shooting Danny Oliver in the head with a 9mm handgun, Bracamontes attempted to commandeer the car of Anthony Holmes. When the African American Holmes refused, Bracamontes shot him five times. Holmes survived but Bracamontes also brandished the AR-15 rifle he used to kill Michael Davis, and he wounded another officer before being captured.

The murder of two police officers is a serious matter but the violent attack prompted no statement from California governor Jerry Brown or attorney general Kamala Harris. Both failed to lament the “gun violence” on display in the case.

In the early going Bracamontes admitted killing the cops but in his current trial in Sacramento he took it to a new level. “I wish I had killed more of the motherfuckers,” he boasted, adding, that he would “break out soon and I will kill more,” so “there’s no need for a fucking trial.”

The criminal Mexican also shouted “fuck you all,” toward the Oliver and Davis families and said “Fuck Danny Oliver! Fuck Michael Davis!” The criminal illegal also called witness Anthony Holmes a “nigger.”

Holmes testified that Bracamontes demanded “give me your car,” and when Holmes tried to flee “he just shot me in my head, in my ear,” taking other wounds in the hands. As he shot Holmes, Bracamontes wore a smirk on his face “just like he’s got right now,” Holmes testified.

As he left the witness stand Bracamontes told Holmes, “You’re lucky I didn’t kill you.” The repeatedly deported Mexican then turned his attention to African American family members and jurors, shouting “black lives don’t matter!”  As it happens, Danny Oliver’s wife Susan is African American.

In similar style, black lives did not matter to Mexican nationals Saul Isidro-Aucencio and Francisco Delgado. In 2011 the pair gunned down Jamir Miller, 15, Richard Ward, 16, and Robert Corpos, 20. Isidro-Aucensio used an AK-47 to shoot Miller in the head, and in court, Jamir Miller’s mother Melissa Jellison expressed anger that the murderers of her son were in the country illegally. Judge Helena Gweon, a Berkeley alum with a JD from Harvard, told the grieving mother “This case has nothing to with illegal aliens.”

The murders prompted no federal, state or local politicians to call for tougher border enforcement or more cooperation with federal law enforcement. That was also the case with the July 2015 shooting of Kate Steinle by Mexican national Jose Inez Garcia Zarate, a repeatedly deported career criminal. State politicians used the case to ramp up defiance of federal law, and have since taken that to a new level.

On January 1, California officially became a sanctuary state in which false-documented illegals, even repeatedly deported violent criminals, are a protected, privileged class. Governor Jerry Brown does his utmost to return already deported criminals to California, and to help other criminals avoid deportation. Assembly speaker Anthony Rendon sees no place for barriers between California and Mexico and prefers Mexico’s PRI regime to the U.S. federal government.

Aside from senate boss Kevin de Leon, California attorney general Xavier Becerra is the loudest promoter of the sanctuary law, which he enforces with an iron hand. Becerra not only shelters false-documented illegals from deportation but now threatens businesses with $10,000 fines if they assist federal immigration authorities.

Under the “Immigrant Protection Act,” which also kicked in January 1, employers must notify workers before a federal audit of employee records and cannot voluntarily share information without a subpoena.

“We will prosecute those who violate the law,” says Becerra, once on Hillary Clinton’s short list as a running mate. The state’s “top cop,” as the establishment media describe him, remains silent over the murder of police officers Danny Oliver and Michael Davis by Mexican national Luis Bracamontes.

When the cop-killer called Anthony Holmes a “nigger” and shouted at jurors that “black lives don’t matter,” that brought no comment from attorney general Becerra. Holmes, on the other hand was not going to remain silent in the face of racism.  As he finished his testimony, Holmes turned to Bracamontes and told the Mexican, “Fuck you.”

Californians could be forgiven for saying the same thing to ruling-class Democrats who turn a blind eye to violent criminal racists and protect false-documented illegals from deportation. Holmes’ brave resistance to the cop killer also sets a strong example.

If police get in gun battle with a criminal illegal, they should shoot to kill. That way, as Luis Bracamontes said, “there’s no need for a fucking trial.” On the other hand, many citizens might agree, there is a need to keep racist murderers like Luis Bracamontes out of the United States of America.

Supreme Court allows full enforcement of Trump travel ban

WASHINGTON – The Supreme Court on Monday allowed the Trump administration to fully enforce a ban on travel to the United States by residents of six mostly Muslim countries.

This is not a final ruling on the travel ban: Challenges to the policy are winding through the federal courts, and the justices themselves ultimately are expected to rule on its legality.

But the action indicates that the high court might eventually approve the latest version of the ban, announced by President Donald Trump in September. Lower courts have continued to find problems with the policy.

White House spokesman Hogan Gidley said the White House is “not surprised by today’s Supreme Court decision permitting immediate enforcement of the President’s proclamation limiting travel from countries presenting heightened risks of terrorism.”

Opponents of this and previous versions of the ban say they show a bias against Muslims. They say that was reinforced most recently by Trump’s retweets of anti-Muslim videos.

“President Trump’s anti-Muslim prejudice is no secret. He has repeatedly confirmed it, including just last week on Twitter. It’s unfortunate that the full ban can move forward for now, but this order does not address the merits of our claims,” said Omar Jadwat, director of the American Civil Liberties Union’s Immigrants’ Rights Project. The ACLU is representing some opponents of the ban.

Just two justices, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor, noted their disagreement with court orders allowing the latest policy to take full effect.

The new policy is not expected to cause the chaos that ensued at airports when Trump rolled out his first ban without warning in January.

The ban applies to travellers from Chad, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria and Yemen. Lower courts had said people from those nations with a claim of a “bona fide” relationship with someone in the United States could not be kept out of the country. Grandparents, cousins and other relatives were among those courts said could not be excluded.

The courts were borrowing language the Supreme Court itself came up with last summer to allow partial enforcement of an earlier version of the ban.

Now, those relationships will no longer provide a blanket exemption from the ban, although visa officials can make exceptions on a case-by-case basis.

The justices offered no explanation for their order, but the administration had said that blocking the full ban was causing “irreparable harm” because the policy is based on legitimate national security and foreign policy concerns.

In lawsuits filed in Hawaii and Maryland, federal courts said the updated travel ban violated federal immigration law. The travel policy also applies to travellers from North Korea and to some Venezuelan government officials and their families, but the lawsuits did not challenge those restrictions. Also unaffected are refugees. A temporary ban on refugees expired in October.

All the rulings so far have been on a preliminary basis. The San Francisco-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Virginia, will be holding arguments on the legality of the ban this week.

David Levine, a University of California Hastings law school professor, said that by allowing the ban to take effect just days before the appeals court arguments, the justices were signalling their view.

“I think it’s tipping the hand of the Supreme Court,” Levine said. “It suggests that from their understanding, the government is more likely to prevail on the merits than we might have thought.”

Both appeals courts are dealing with the issue on an accelerated basis, and the Supreme Court noted it expects those courts to reach decisions “with appropriate dispatch.”

Quick resolution by appellate courts would allow the Supreme Court to hear and decide the issue this term, by the end of June.
