Pro-Abortion Show “Handmaid’s Tale” Falsely Claims Christian Husbands Beat Their Wives

here in Toronto at the Islamic booth and Dundas Square Islamists are giving away free books advocating wife beating and subjugating women

The latest episode of Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale comes up with a new way to twist the words of the Bible into their own depraved interpretation. This time, they justify violence against women at their hands of their own husbands. It just goes to show, never trust Hollywood to quote Scripture.

The June 6 episode “Women’s Work” has handmaid June/Offred (Elizabeth Moss) and head of house Serena Joy (Yvonne Strahovski) working together to help an ailing baby. When doctors are unable to diagnose the baby’s illness, the two forge Serena’s husband, Commander Waterford’s (Joseph Fiennes), signature to request help from a woman who use to work as a doctor before being subjugated for her gender.

Despite their good intentions, Waterford ultimately punishes his wife for “disobeying” him, justifying himself with Ephesians 5:22.

Fred: Wives, submit yourselves onto your own husbands as unto the Lord and ye husbands dwell with them according to knowledge. Giving honor unto the wife as unto the weaker vessel.

Serena: Fred, please-

Fred: But if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us. Serena. Forgive me, darling.

[Serena cries out in pain]

Fred: Offred. Stay.

[exclaims in pain]

So, new this season, we’ve learned not only does this Christian society marry off child brides, it apparently also condones marital abuse. I guess The Handmaid’s Tale is again mixing up their ideas of extreme religions. Strangely, I still doubt we’ll be hearing the characters praise Allah any time soon.

Funny how when liberals denounce the “wives submit to your husbands” verse as indicative of misogyny they come up short in finding a Bible verse that actually condones husbands harming their wives. They also conveniently forget the lines directly after. Ephesians 5:25-28 reads: “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her to sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to Himself as a glorious church, without stain or wrinkle or any such blemish, but holy and blameless. In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.”

In my mind, love “as their own bodies” doesn’t translate to torture. Only someone truly contemptible can think that in any way excuses violence, but it just seems on par with this latest season. It truly has gone downhill.

“Abortionist to the Stars” Covers Up 911 Call to Hide How Badly a Botched Abortion Injured a Woman

http://www.lifenews.com/2018/06/07/abortionist-to-the-stars-covers-up-911-call-to-hide-how-badly-a-botched-abortion-injured-a-woman/

When a patient at the Pro-Choice Medical Center in Beverly Hills, California, suffered a medical emergency, an employee of the swank late-term abortion business placed a call for help to 911.

However, when Operation Rescue received the recording via a public records request, only about 30 seconds of the four-minute conversation could be heard. The other 3 minutes and 30 seconds were filled with a series of beeps, indicating redactions in the recording.

The incident took place on April 23, 2018, at 2:03 p.m. In the parts of the recording that actually contained information, a clinic worker indicated that the emergency involved a “patient who was sent to us. . .”

The 911 dispatcher placed the caller on hold while he dispatched paramedics and later returned to reassure her that paramedics were on the way.

A Computer Aided Dispatch transcript that was obtained along with the recording that a Rescue unit was dispatched along with another unit to provide advanced life support for an injury that did not result from a vehicular accident.

The patient was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for additional emergency treatment. The entire incident took 43 minutes.

According to public records laws, only information related to the patient’s identity should be removed. Information about the condition and why the ambulance was called does not identify any particular person and is not subject to redaction.

“There’s only one reason to over-redact a public 911 recording and that is to cover something up. Given the political climate in California, it’s not surprising that some local official with an agenda would want to hide the dangers of abortion,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “We need transparency in order to protect women from harm at abortion facilities that are ill-equipped to handle the life-threatening emergencies that occur repeatedly.”

The Pro-Choice Medical Center is owned and solely operated by late-term abortionist Josefa Seletz. Since locating her high-end abortion business to Beverly Hills, she has become known as the “Abortionist to the Stars.”

Since the fall of 2015, there have been at least six women transported to the hospital by ambulance from the Pro-Choice Medical Center, which is one of just five abortion facilities in the U.S. to openly conduct abortions through the third trimester of pregnancy.

“We may never know what happened to the woman injured in April, but we know it was serious enough that the assistance of paramedics was needed along with an emergency transport to the hospital,” said Newman. “Women deserve to know the truth about the true dangers of abortion — and the fact that they could very well leave their appointment in an ambulance, as we see time and time again.”

Exclusive: 56 Lawmakers Ask HHS Probe of Planned Parenthood’s Response to Child Sexual Abuse

A group of 56 lawmakers led by Rep. Vicky Hartzler, R-Mo., is urging federal officials to investigate the extent to which Planned Parenthood fails to report suspected sexual abuse of minors.

In a letter Thursday to the Department of Health and Human Services, Hartzler and 55 other Republicans ask the agency to probe whether Planned Parenthood, as a recipient of federal Title X funds, “failed in its duty to report suspected child abuse to local authorities and to HHS.”

Hartzler and other signers announced the formal request of an investigation in a press conference Thursday morning at the Capitol.

Their letter to HHS Secretary Alex Azar comes less than a week after the pro-life group Live Action released a report alleging Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, covered up evidence of child sexual abuse.

Among the signers are two senators—Joni Ernst of Iowa and James Lankford of Oklahoma. Besides Hartzler, the 53 members of the House requesting the probe include Chris Smith of New Jersey, Mark Walker of North Carolina, and Diane Black of Tennessee.

The Daily Signal previously reported that the Live Action study, “Aiding Abusers: Planned Parenthood’s Cover-Up of Child Sexual Abuse,” alleges that Planned Parenthood has been caught on multiple occasions providing abortions to victims of sexual abuse as young as 12 and 13, failing to report suspected sexual abuse to authorities, and sending victims back to their abusers.

The report singles out situations where it says abusers forced minors to get an abortion because they had become pregnant after rape and sexual abuse, while Planned Parenthood looked the other way.

Title X is a federal grant program for preventive and family planning health services.

In their letter, the lawmakers ask that Health and Human Services specifically investigate and make available:

All records (including from regional offices) regarding any and all incidents of Planned Parenthood Title X recipients’ failure to report suspected sexual abuse of minors in their care;

A record of the steps taken to bring the recipient into compliance each time it was discovered that a Planned Parenthood Title X recipient failed to report suspected abuse, and documentation of the consequences for each recipient that refused to come into compliance; and

Data from Planned Parenthood Title X facilities for the past 10 years showing in the aggregate how many children below their particular states’ age of consent received services that would indicate they were sexually active … as well as the number of reports of suspected child sexual abuse Planned Parenthood made to law enforcement during that same period.

President Donald Trump’s administration released text May 22 for a proposed rule that would force abortion providers such as Planned Parenthood to choose between federal funding and performing abortions under the same roof as other programs.

Conservative lawmakers have sought unsuccessfully to end taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood. The abortion giant, which received a total of $543.7 million in taxpayer dollars in 2016, contends that none of that money goes toward abortions.

Hartzler and the other signers of the letter to Azar write that Planned Parenthood receives about $60 million a year in Title X funds from taxpayers. It is the country’s largest recipient of the federal family planning funds, they say, and should not be aiding perpetrators of sexual abuse.

“In light of this [Live Action] report and the influx of federal resources to this organization,” the lawmakers write, “we respectfully request that you investigate Planned Parenthood, as well as other current Title X recipients, to determine how widespread the failure of abuse reporting is.”

Fury at top family court judge who said we should applaud the end of the nuclear family and welcome the new reality of single and same-sex households

The country’s most senior family judge was under fire from politicians and colleagues yesterday after saying that the collapse of the traditional family was to be welcomed.

In a speech Sir James Munby, president of the Family Division of the High Court, said there was a new reality of single parent households, same-sex marriages and adopted families.

He said this was ‘a reality which we should welcome and applaud’.

The applause for new forms of family life, delivered in a lecture at Liverpool University and published at the weekend, is a step further than any major figure in public life has yet travelled in the direction of rejecting the two-parent family as the best pattern for raising children.

While politicians have over the past 30 years have ignored or downgraded the role of marriage – Tony Blair’s ministers tried to remove the word from official records and even register office signs – they have routinely praised the importance of the two-parent family for the well-being of children.

Research evidence collected over decades has shown that children of intact two-parent families do better at school and enjoy better health than children affected by family break-up or who have lone parents. Parents who undergo divorce or break-up also lose out in financial, health and other well-being terms.

While academics have argued over whether marriage is important to the strength of couple relationships, few have questioned the assumption that the two-parent family is best for both adults and children.

Sir James’s remarks were criticised by Iain Duncan Smith, the former Tory leader and work and pensions secretary, who has long argued for greater state support for married couples.

‘The present system does not help couples stay together, but makes it more likely that they will split,’ Mr Duncan Smith said.

‘The UK faces a complete collapse of family commitment through marriage, particularly among people who are on low incomes. We ought to be concentrating on helping families stay together rather than helping them break up.’

Mr Duncan Smith said that the cost of family break-up to the state, including the price of state benefits and additional health care, is estimated to run to £50billion a year. ‘If that was caused by something economic the Government would move heaven and earth to stop it,’ he said. ‘But because we are afraid of offending people we have failed to do anything. We should be moving to stop family break-up.’

The Marriage Foundation, the pro-marriage pressure group founded by Sir Paul Coleridge, the former High Court family judge and colleague of Sir James, said that the president of the Family Division had stepped outside the proper bounds for judges. Its research chief, Harry Benson, said: ‘I would never dream of criticising a senior judge on legal matters.

‘But Sir James has stepped well outside the court in saying “we should welcome and applaud the end of the nuclear family”.

‘At a time when we have the highest rates of family instability in the entire developed world precisely because of the trend away from relatively stable marriage, this is like saying that we should welcome and applaud the existence of ill health or broken legs.

Hypocrisy: Liberals who attack traditional families often have strong families themselves – because it works, says former barrister Laura Perrins

The liberal, governing classes never miss an opportunity to lecture the rest of us on what has become their iron orthodoxy: that modern parenting must be celebrated in all its various forms.

Now, Britain’s most senior family judge, Sir James Munby, has gone one step further and is actively calling on us to ‘welcome and applaud’ the demise of the nuclear family.

With all due respect to this esteemed judicial figure, I cannot join in his delight at the revolution that has engulfed our society.

The collapse of traditional family structures in Britain is a cause for concern rather than jubilation, given how it has undermined social cohesion, robbed children of security, and places ever greater demands on the public purse.

So many of the problems we face in 21st century Britain – such as urban street crime and worsening mental health – arise from dysfunctional families and a lack of parental role models, especially fathers for adolescent boys.

In one respect, however, Sir James is correct. It is absolutely right that our society no longer stigmatises lone parents or people who have been through divorce.

No one of compassion wants to return to a world where single mothers were punished or, worse, had their children taken into care simply for giving birth out of wedlock.

Similarly, there is nothing ethical about forcing people, through the law or financial penalties, to remain trapped in loveless marriages. Partners who despise each other are hardly likely to be good parents.

But what Sir James fails to recognise is that the pendulum has swung too far the other way. Serious damage is being caused by the fashionable dogma that family structures don’t matter, that anything goes as long as it’s part of each individual’s personal quest for happiness.

In the process, the virtues of loyalty, commitment, duty, steadfastness and self-sacrifice have been jettisoned.

This runs counter to the social history of mankind. Every successful society has had at its bedrock a family unit, based on child-rearing by a mother and a father who are committed to each other and their offspring. That has always proved the best way to provide security, to share burdens, to inculcate moral values and to establish respect for authority.

Whatever Sir James says – and given the distressing cases he must have presided over, he will surely know this to be the case – the plain fact is that children do better with two parents.

It is estimated that half of all children born today will experience family breakdown by the age of 16. Of course, any child will suffer from such a meltdown, but the price is most heavily paid by those who come from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Cushioned by their affluence and status, the upper and middle classes can cope, on the whole, better with familial instability, but the loss of a breadwinner in working-class households can be the start of a spiral of despair.

That is why the welfare system often has to step in. Those who welcome Sir James’s apparent delight in the end of the nuclear family – an institution that many millions still endorse and aspire to – should understand the burden of the social revolution.

According to a study by the Centre for Social Justice, the annual cost of family breakdown is no less than £47billion a year.

But the consequences go far beyond finance. They can be seen, too, in the terrifying inadequacy of too many parents.

As the Mail reported last week, the head of the schools inspectorate Ofsted warned that some children are now entering primary school without the ability to use the toilet, put on a coat or even speak properly.

It is no use bleating about ‘lack of resources’, this is all down to a tragic failure in parental responsibility.

In the wake of educational failure, rising crime, mental illness, and widespread loneliness, liberals continually demand ever more Government intervention, more social programmes, more spending.

But it is my belief that we wouldn’t need half of this if we had retained and supported – and, yes, exalted the nuclear family. The hypocrisy of these liberals is astounding. Yes, they preach the virtues of anything goes, but I’ve often observed that in their own lives they stick to the family unit that has served mankind so well.

They want others to embrace change, but they don’t want it for themselves because, I would argue, they know it undermines the welfare of children. Take those apostles of familial liberalism – people like David Cameron, Nick Clegg, Harriet Harman and Yvette Cooper. That’s not to mention Sir James Munby himself, who according to Who’s Who has been married since 1977.

All have used their own strong marriages to bring up their own children. They instinctively know the reality – even when it contradicts their own ideology and Sir James’s edict – that the traditional family works.

Laura Perrins is a former barrister and the co-editor of the Conservative Woman website

‘Yes, we must care for, support, treat and prevent brokenness. But to welcome and applaud it is a rare lapse of judgment.’

In his Liverpool speech, Sir James, who is to retire this summer, said: ‘In contemporary Britain the family takes an almost infinite variety of forms.

‘People live together as couples, married or not, and with partners who may not always be of the other sex. Children live in households where their parents may be married or unmarried.

‘They may be brought up by a single parent, by two parents or even by three parents…

‘Their siblings may be only half-siblings or step-siblings… Some children are conceived by artificial donor insemination. Some are the result of surrogacy arrangements.

‘The fact is that many adults and children, whether through choice or circumstance, live in families more or less removed from what, until comparatively recently, would have been recognised as the typical nuclear family.’

Sir James said: ‘This, I stress, is not merely the reality; it is, I believe, a reality which we should welcome and applaud.’

Identity of female paedophile exposed by neighbour who spots charity Christmas card sent to sex beasts

One of Britain’s most notorious female paedophiles had her cover blown when a neighbour spotted a Christmas card from a charity which befriends sex attackers.

Warped Tracy Lyons, 46, had been living under a different surname after she was freed from jail for her part in a paedo ring led by Little Teds nursery worker Vanessa George and her online lover Colin Blanchard.

But mother-of-nine Lyons was rumbled after she invited neighbours in for a festive coffee and one spotted a card signed “from all your friends at Circles”.

She was earlier pictured in a red dressing gown on a doorstep, seemingly without a care in the world.

Her vile past was exposed when one curious neighbour Googled the charity and discovered it is a taxpayer-funded group which helps rehabilitate sex offenders by providing them with volunteer “friends” and organising days out.

The charity says it provides a “social network” for paedophiles and rapists and helps boost their self esteem.

The Christmas card was spotted on December 22 by neighbour Richard Hurren, who had befriended Lyons with no idea of her real identity or appalling history.

Curious, he went online and found his “pal” was jailed for four years in 2011 over a paedo ring which centred on abuse of tots at a nursery in Plymouth, Devon.

Lyons – now using a different surname, which we are not revealing – was jailed after taking pictures of herself abusing a two-year-old and sending them to paedo kingpin Blanchard.

Shocked Richard alerted neighbours in Southampton, who then confronted Lyons on Christmas Eve. She phoned police before packing her belongings and leaving her council home in a taxi.

Lyons, from Portsmouth, had been due to spend Christmas day at a neighbour’s home, where there would have been young children. It is believed she has now been rehoused.

Richard, 45, said: “We got chatting with her when she moved in and she seemed friendly enough.

“Just before Christmas we were round for coffee and I clocked a card from Circles. I Googled it and I found out it was a support group for sex offenders. At first I thought it was possible she was a victim.

“I Googled the surname she was going by here. I couldn’t find anything. Then I put in ‘sex offenders Portsmouth’ and found ‘Tracy Lyons Portsmouth’ and her picture. I recognised her straight away.
