Nasty Gal’s TV Ads Banned after 134-Lb. Bikini Model Deemed ‘Too Skinny’

land whales jealous of attractive women complaining?

Britain is busy fulfilling the vision of one of it’s greatest writers, George Orwell.

In his dystopian book “1984,” Orwell created Big Brother, who is secretly watching all citizens of Oceania as Thought Police persecute individualism and independent thinking. Censorship reigns, freedom of speech is squelched, and you don’t even want to know what goes on in Room 101.

Orwell’s vision is alive in well in the U.K. This past week, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) — which sounds an awful lot like the Ministry of Truth — banned three advertisements because it deemed the model to skinny.

The main ad featured a model posing in various outfits including swimwear, a dress and a tank top with a skirt, the ASA said. The model was also shown playing tennis and golf. The ASA said “22 complainants who believed the model looked unhealthily thin challenged whether the ads were socially irresponsible.”

But the ASA noted that the 5-foot, 10-inch model wears a British size 8 and weighs 134 pounds, as well as having a body mass index (BMI) of 18.8 — “well within the healthy weight and BMI range in accordance with NHS guidelines.” (The model is not the one pictured above — to see her photos in The Sun, click here.)

“Some viewers may subjectively view the model to be too slender, whilst others would recognise her to be of a healthy appearance, which was supported by the NHS guidelines,” said the ASA.

And yet the Authority still upheld the complaints and ordered the ads off the air.

The ASA considered that while the female model in the ads generally appeared to be in proportion, there were specific scenes, which because of her poses, drew attention to her slimness. For instance, the ads showed the model lying on a sun lounger stretching her arms, which emphasised their slimness and length. Furthermore, towards the end of the ads were scenes showing the model spraying mist on herself, which placed focus on her chest where her rib cage was visible and appeared prominent.

We considered that the model appeared unhealthily underweight in those scenes and concluded that the ads were therefore irresponsible.

A perfect example of Doublethink if ever there was one.

Poster that say “Woman (noun) adult female human” banned by Biology Deniers

https://www.breitbart.com/london/2018/09/26/poster-dictionary-definition-woman-censored-transgender-twitter-row/

A poster simply featuring the dictionary definition of “woman” has been removed after a man claimed it could “make transgender people feel unsafe”.

The poster, put up in the city of Liverpool close to the Labour Party conference venue featured only six words taken from the Google dictionary: “Woman, women, noun, adult human female.”

It was up for a week before Adrian Harrop, Twitter activist and NHS doctor, claimed online that the definition amounts to an attack on the transgendered that could endanger them.

He contacted the chief executive and senior directors of the billboard company, Primesight, on Twitter, claiming they were complicit “in the spread of transphobic hate speech”.

The firm responded swiftly, insisting it should not have been put up and promising to have the poster censored.

In a statement issued online, Primesight said: “Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We were unaware of the motive behind this campaign which was placed through our online automated booking system.

“At first glance, this copy did not raise a red flag the way it should have done. Hands up, we have been misled by this campaign’s messaging.

“Thanks to you, this campaign has been halted and the posters will be removed from our billboards as soon as possible.

“As you pointed out, we are proud to support the LGBT+ community and remain fully committed to equality for all.”

“Thank you Primesight,” Mr Harrop replied. “This is the right decision, and I thank you personally for your rapid response so our concerns [sic].

“You are truly a fantastic ally and supporter of the #LGBTQ+ community, and this will not be forgotten.”

Responding to the furore right-wing Tory MP Nadine Dorries joked on Twitter: “I am a woman. ‘Women, noun, adult human female.’ Come and get me, Twitter activists.”

She added: “A Twitter activist had a poster stating the above removed, citing hate speech as the reason.”

Standing for Women, the feminist group behind the poster, have since released a statement on their website about the incident, writing:

“As you may have read the billboard has been deemed transphobic and is being removed in an act of grotesque misogynistic rage, we are seeking legal advice and will make a full statement in due course.”

Twitter has now suspended the group’s account.

Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull, a founder of the group, has criticised Labour for allowing biological men on all-women shortlists. She has previously been questioned by police and allegedly had her travel restricted for criticising the pro-transgender group Mermaids and speaking negatively about transgenderism.

Mermaids, meanwhile, has received thousands in tax-payer money despite being bannedfrom contacting a family, after the mother abused her seven-year-old son by forcing him to live as a girl.

The government is expected to ignore a recent report from Parliament’s Women’s and Equalities committee, aimed at appeasing the transgender lobby, demanding anyone be able to legally be considered a woman simply by saying they are.

If adopted, the policy would mean biological men can enter women’s rape crisis centres and changing rooms, which has worried many feminists and women’s rights campaigners.

SJW Terrorist Planned to Detonate a 200-lb Bomb on the National Mall

Paul Rosenfeld, 56, was arrested in Tappan, Rockland County, New York, based on a tip from a person he communicated with about a plot to detonate a 200-pound bomb on the National Mall, D.C. on Election Day.

Law enforcement only came up with 8 pounds of gunpowder and that makes a little but lethal bomb. Someone exaggerated.

The tipster, believed to be a reporter living in Pennsylvania, had letters and texts from Rosenfeld detailing the plot.

Rosenfeld adheres to an ideology called Sortition, which advocates that government officials should be selected by lottery rather than popular vote.

Hey, maybe we would do better, especially in New York and California [just kidding except for NY or California, all apologies to Lee Zeldin]

FBI bomb technicians discovered and removed a plywood box filled with eight pounds of gunpowder. Rosenfeld had rehearsed with several smaller bombs.

He confessed.

There are a lot more just like him.

At a Senate hearing Wednesday morning, FBI Director Christopher Wray said his agents are investigating about 1,000 homegrown terror threats in all 50 states.

“Those cover the waterfront of the full range of extremist ideologies from right to left and everything in between,” Wray said.

He appears to be an insane social justice warrior.

Paul Rosenfeld was a member of a blog group calling themselves Kleroterians. They follow the principle of sortition. They are believers in complete randomness. Their focus was on distributing elected offices by lottery and by statistics. The lottery would contain 50% women, 28% hispanics and blacks, rich and poor, young and old, straight and gay, and very few lawyers. The site is equalitybylot.com

In a piece he wrote in March, 2015 for the group, titled, The Extinction of Politics, he lamented the “fervent belief” in what he believes is “The [failed] Democratic Process”.

Government should be run by citizen juries, he proposed.

The madman talks about the uphill climb in getting their ideology into the mainstream and the need to be “extremely creative”.

A 200-pound bomb appears to be his idea of “extremely creative”.

He wrote about the need to demolish the myth of one man, one vote:

The fight for sortition goes against all this. To say we’re engaged in an uphill battle is a profound understatement. We’re at the bottom of an enormous cliff armed only with our wits and our fingernails. In this context we must be extremely creative. To promote our cause as a struggle for good government or social justice may be literally correct, but it falls far short of the mark in my opinion. If we are to have any chance of success at all we must seek to actually demolish the myth of one man, one vote!

His plan for social justice must include the elimination of the Democratic process.

To promote our cause as a struggle for good government or social justice may be literally correct, but it falls far short of the mark in my opinion. If we are to have any chance of success at all we must seek to actually demolish the myth of one man, one vote! We will never be able to scale this cliff, but perhaps with the right combination of words we may undermine it to the point of collapse. Long odds no doubt, but I believe it’s the only play we have.

Basically, he wants to replace democracy and capitalism with true social justice, achieved through sortition and argued successfully by presenting it as a biological inevitability.

His entire philosophy is to achieve social justice for the common good.

By “common good” I intend the greatest good for the greatest number. I would equate this with social equality and equitable distribution of resources. “Majority Rule”, with its factions and maneuvering and minorities and intrigue, inevitably leads to social stratification and unequal distribution of resources (the winning coalition divides the spoils among themselves and the losing minority gets trampled).

Some of the Kleroterians want it to be a pure lottery with no regard for education or experience. Even Rosenfeld is concerned about that.

His ideas for promoting the little organization of 300 plus members included a well-done video, engaging in activism, and reaching out to Academia. Since 2015 however, he came to the conclusion that a BIG BOMB would be the best attention-getter.

Yes, folks, this Kleroterian is nuts.

University of Georgia Protester to Candace Owens: ‘You’re Not Black’

a leftist on terb  ”i thought you were black”

sounds familiar?

Donald Trump Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle joined Charlie Kirk and Candace Owens on the second stop of Turning Point USA’s Campus Clash tour Tuesday at the University of Georgia. The four spoke to an audience of 1,500 students and supporters, but one protester took issue with Owens’ race.

Among the crowd were protesters who seemed to take displeasure in the fact that Owens is a black conservative.

“You’re not black!” Shouted one agitator while Owens explained why she left the Democratic Party.

“[The Left] believes that someone loses their blackness as soon as they become a conservative,” reacted Kirk, “They did this to Clarence Thomas, they did this to Dr. Ben Carson, and now they’re doing this to Candace Owens.”

“Make no mistake, the Left believes that they own black people,” added Owens, “So when a black person has the audacity to stand on stage and say—I no longer agree with these policies, and I would like to think with my brain as opposed to my skin tone, they lose their minds.”

Jilted girlfriend, 25, who ordered a fake pregnancy bump and claimed her ex had raped her in a warped harassment campaign is convicted of stalking and perverting the course of justice

A jilted woman who falsely claimed her ex-boyfriend raped her and bought a baby bump to dupe him into thinking she was pregnant is facing years behind bars.

Jessica Nordquist, 25, subjected her ex-boyfriend Mark Weeks to a chilling and ‘relentless’ campaign of harassment during which she faked her own kidnapping and emailed his clients and colleagues claiming he had sexually abused her.

The pair began a relationship while working for the video advertising company Unruly after Nordquist, a solutions engineer, moved from New York to the London office in June last year.

But their romance soured and the pair separated in November.

Mr Weeks soon received a barrage of abuse from Nordquist, who had also created around 20 Instagram accounts for the sole purpose of harassing him.

Described as ‘a deeply manipulative and compulsive liar’, Nordquist fabricated a story leading her loved ones to believe she had been kidnapped and raped, sparking a massive police hunt.

Mr Weeks received photos of Nordquist naked, bound and gagged attached to an email that read: ‘Jessica Nordquist is the one who has been protecting your children from us. We raped and stole her tonight.’

When police later searched to her home they found a number of sim cards for various networks.
